East New York District Leader, Nikki Lucas, will be giving out free bookbags to the first 300 students at the HeatlhyNYC Expo, at the Brooklyn Sports Club, Saturday September 8, 2018 (10am-3pm). The Brooklyn Sports Club is located at 1540 Van Siclen Ave. at Spring Creek Towers (Starrett City).
The event is free, and the bookbag giveaway is another feature added to the HealthyNYC Expo (Brooklyn Edition). There will also be live jazz, a drumline performance, PATHS Dance performance, cooking demonstrations, full body workout by Alwayz Fit 4 Lyfe, Senior Pavilion section, blood pressure screening, Bike New York, youth basketball clinic by GameOver, and more.
